CTM held the 9th Bridge Alliance Management Meeting recently to share best practices, and discuss and explore solutions and technologies in the telecom industry including roaming development and propositions, Enterprise Mobility, IoT development, Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Blockchain.
As a member operator of Bridge Alliance, CTM collaborates with other alliance members, aiming to provide its customers with the best 4G mobile experience both domestically and worldwide.
As of June 2018, CTM said in a statement that it has launched data roaming service with 351 overseas operators, covering 212 countries and regions, amongst which, 232 partner operators offer 4G roaming service to CTM customers.
Bridge Alliance was established in 2004. Since then, the alliance has grown rapidly. Its footprint expanded not only in Asia Pacific, but also to Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Americas serving over 800 million customers across 34 countries.
CEM launches Wechat account
CEM launched an official WeChat account so that citizens can manage their electricity accounts and receive up-to-date information, the electric company announced in a statement.
By following CEM WeChat and binding electricity bills or e-Service to the account, customers can access online services, such as applying for new supply, changing contracts and terminating contracts, submitting self-reading, and make meter reading appointments.
Changing the language in which bills are written, and changing the mailing address, applying for payment reminders, receiving notifications of bill issuance and service application status check is also available through this platform.
Until August 31, customers who follow CEM WeChat will enter a lucky draw automatically in which they can win up to 200 prizes, including Hong Kong-Macau round-trip ferry tickets, movie tickets, shopping coupons, and ice cream coupons.
Moreover, customers who bind their electricity bill at the same time will have the chance to win “Binding Grand Prizes”, which include a Nintendo Switch console and variety kit, Xiaomi robot vacuum, and Dyson hairdryer.
