Corporate bits | MGM celebrates CNY with seniors charity

On March 3 MGM celebrated the start of the Chinese New Year with senior members of the Women’s General Association of Macau. As part of the celebration, a lion dance was performed by MGM’s Junior Lion Dance Troupe, alongside other singing performances.

The celebration was jointly organized by five service centers operating under the Women’s General Association of Macau. The event achieved its goal of spreading the holiday’s warmth and kindness to approximately 200 senior members, according to a press release issued by the gaming operator.

The five centers included the Family Service Centre, Centro de Apoio Familiar da Zona Norte, Centro de Apoio Múltiplo à Família “Alegria em Harmonia,” Joyful Family Service Centre, and the Posto de Apoio Familiar das Ilhas.

MGM held a series of its signature initiatives, including the “Spring Clean for Love” and “Haircut for Love” programs during the Chinese New Year.

The events were made possible through the participation of its Golden Lion Volunteer Team members.
