Corporate bits | Sands China participates in human capital forum

Sands China Ltd. participated in the 2018 Macao China International Human Capital Forum at Sands Cotai Central, sending two of its top executives to represent the company.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China, and Wen Hongyan, the company’s senior vice president of human resources, delivered keynote addresses at the forum, where they shared their insights about human resource management with business executives from Fortune 500 companies, the Top 500 Enterprises of China and local companies in Macau.

The two-day forum’s agenda also included a site visit and symposium with Sands China human resources executives to discuss the establishment and dissemination of the employer brand in the hotel industry.

Sands China is the Premium Sponsor of the 2018 Macau China International Human Capital Forum, which is focused on exploring the industrial advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area in the areas of human resource management and talent development.

CTM brings festive spirit with charity center visit

To celebrate Christmas and the festive season, the CTM Volunteer Team organized a Christmas visit to the Fountain of Love and Joy Integrated Family Service Centre, delivering seasonal blessings and care to the beneficiary families.

According to a statement issued by the company, apart from giving out Christmas presents to the users of the center, the ten volunteer team members also conducted performances, including a singing and magic show.

CTM pledged to fulfill its commitment to corporate social responsibility by organizing a series of community activities, aiming to extend care and support to people in need and to build a harmonious society.

It also noted that it encourages its employees to participate in different community activities, so as to enhance the cohesion of society.
