Melco Crown hosts gala media dinner

P004_Best Costume AwardsMelco Crown Entertainment Limited hosted a Hollywood-themed media gala dinner at City of Dreams Macau Monday, to show support for all local media and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau SAR.
The celebration was distinguished by a speech given by Co-chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Lawrence Ho; then a toast joined by Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ted Chan; and Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer Ms. Akiko Takahashi.
Mr. Lawrence Ho said: “2014 is a breakthrough year for the Company, we are truly excited that our Macau home-grown entertainment resort brand City of Dreams has extended to Manila”.
“Looking ahead to 2015… we’re very pleased that our entertainment centerpiece ‘The House of Dancing Water’ will be hitting its 5th anniversary milestone next year. The expansion of the luxury retail offering and the iconic, Dame Zaha Hadid-inspired fifth hotel tower are also expected to open in 2016 and the first half of 2017, both will substantially expand our world-class offerings”.

‘Macau Macau’ TV program premiere

CNC Holdings presented the premiere of the “Macau Macau” TV program on Monday at The Venetian Macao, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau SAR.
The Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Dr. Cheong U; Deputy Director of the PRC Liaison Office, Mr. Chen Sixi; Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Macao SAR, Mr. Pan Yundong; MGTO Director, Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes; the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Dr. Ung Vai Meng and other government officials and celebrities attended.
In his remarks, Vice President and CEO of CNC Holdings Limited Mr. Zou Chen Dong said, “At the 15th Anniversary of Macau’s return, as the state media who ‘spreads Chinese voice, expresses Chinese views, shapes Chinese image’, CNC Holdings Ltd. send the world another shining card – Macau. During the past four months, our crew traveled to all islands of Macau, from Farol da Guia to Praia de Hac Sá, from Largo do Lilau to the Hengqin New Campus of University of Macau, and used the 4k aerial shooting technology to lead the audience enjoy Macau from the air for the first time”.
