Sands Shoppes hosted the inaugural Sands Retail Awards ceremony on Tuesday to recognize retailers that have demonstrated service excellence throughout 2015. Awards were presented for “Best Store Performance” across nine categories, including High Street Fashion, Luxury Fashion, and Food & Beverage. Ten winners were selected across the nine categories, based on their sales’ performance, overall shop presentation, and customer service. “By introducing these awards, we are showing our retailers that their efforts to provide our guests and customers with the highest level of service possible [are] greatly appreciated,” said David Sylvester, executive vice-president of global retail at Las Vegas Sands.
cam donates to ‘walk for a million’
The Macau International Airport Company (CAM) has issued a press release announcing its MOP100,000 contribution to the 32nd edition of the “Walk For A Million,” which took place on Sunday. The company also formed a team of over 140 staff members from CAM and its subsidiaries, which participated in the day’s events. CAM says that its team undertook tasks such as looking for a suitable gathering spot, preparing banner materials, and arranging breakfast for participants. The “Walk For A Million,” which is organized by the Macau Daily Readers Charity Fund, is the largest annual charity event in Macau. It seeks to provide funding for various family and child welfare services.
