The 12th edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia is scheduled to return to The Venetian Macao from May 15 to 17, with a focus on key industry segments.
This year, the expo will host segments including Digital Content & Technology, a combined exhibition showcase of online game development and technology providers, and Integrated Resort Technology & Business Solutions, a display of the field’s newest Integrated Resort (IR) products, technologies and services that drive revenue and value from non-gaming sources.
The expo will also feature a Parts and Components Pavilion dedicated to exhibiting components involved in the electronic gaming machine’s manufacturing industry.
One of the highlights this year includes the “New Games Experience Tour.” The tour is designed to provide attendees with an interactive on-site experience. Electronic gaming machine manufacturers will assign specific time slots for selected, pre-registered visitors to try out new games.
Presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by Reed Exhibitions, nearly 13,000 visitors from 84 countries and regions participated in the event last year. Last year’s expo also hosted over 580 pre- arranged business matchings and generated an on-site business volume of USD21.95 million.
In a press conference yesterday, Josephine Lee, CEO of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, said that the event will host more than 220 exhibitors. She anticipates that around 17,000 local and international trade visitors will attend over the three event days.
G2E Asia 2018 Conference Program, led by a lineup of industry leaders and influencers, will present updates on regional developments and practical, cost-effective insights on the challenges facing Asian operators today.
In addition, the G2E Asia Privileges Program will welcome over 1,800 senior executives, key buyers, and senior-level decision makers from the gaming and entertainment industry.
Other features of the expo will include a Tech Talk Forum and a Segmented Industry Networking Event.
Finally, the 2018 G2E Asia Awards will take place on May 15. The awards have been launched to recognize excellence and innovation, to celebrate both gaming and non-gaming aspects of the entertainment industry in Asia.
