Gov’t signs cooperation with NHC for Islands Hospital
The SAR government has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the mainland National Health Commission (NHC) for the management of the Islands District Medical Complex project. Under the recommendation of the National Health Commission, the SAR Government will collaborate with Peking Union Medical College Hospital to operate and provide services in the Islands Health Care Complex. According to a statement, “the purpose of the memorandum is to promote the implementation of the Islands District Medical Complex project. The government of the Macau SAR will promote special legislation in accordance with the local legal system.”
IPIM organizes business trip to Hengqin
The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) recently organized a business delegation of 30 members of the Macau convention and exhibition sector to visit the In-depth Cooperation Zone between Guangdong and Macau in Hengqin. During their stay in Hengqin, visits were made to commercial hotels, exhibition grounds, annual meeting facilities and other convention and exhibition facilities. IPIM said that it also allowed the delegation to take in the planning and services of the tourist areas in the Cooperation Zone in order to bolster exchange and cooperation in the fields of conventions, exhibitions and trade between the two locales.
