British racer Rob Huff, returning to Macau this year, added one more win to his portfolio. The manner in which he drove his MG5 XPower TCR allowed him to reach the top spot of the podium in the Macau Touring Car Cup, which this year was almost completely at the expense of cars from the Chinese touring car championships.
On Saturday, Huff used all his experience to best David Zhu in one of the many Lynk & Co 03 TCRs. The third spot belonged to Hong Kong driver Sunny Wong in another Lynk & Co 03 TCR.
Starting from the back, Huff made an impressive recovery. Unfortunately, race interruptions stalled his progress. Nonetheless, the British racer finished race two yesterday just behind Zhang Zhi Qiang in a Lynk & Co 03 TCR that had been the fastest in free practices and second in qualifying one.
Also returning to Macau was local racer Rodolfo Ávila, who took another MG5 XPower TCR to the fourth position in race two behind Gao Hua Yang, in the SAIC Lamando L that was third in both races.RM
