MACA | Music Festival in town in September

The MACA Music Festival 2015 – Guitar: the Soul of Music – will be held in Macau on September 20. It will be hosted by the Macau Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers (MACA).
The concert, which will be held at the Sands Theatre, is aiming to provide a platform for Macau and Hong Kong guitarists to join forces on stage, organizers stated in a press release. Guest performers include Hong Kong Redline Music band Supper Moment, Sun Entertainment band Zolarwind, singer-songwriter Terence Siufay, Macanese João Gomes, and the Winners of the MACA Song Writers’ Quest 2015 Viviana Lo, and Bobo Loi, among others.
A special session will be performed in honor of Lawrence Lee, a former vocalist of local band Special Force, who passed away in 2013.
The festival will feature a collection of 30 guitars, which will be displayed at the entrance to the theater.
Tickets for the festival are now available for MOP100 (standard price). Discount tickets are also available at MOP50 for members of MACA, children under the age of 12, full time students, and adults aged over 65. Tickets are on sale at the office of MACA or via the Cotai Ticketing website.
