I am bullish on Qian Gua’s chance from K.H.LEUNG’s yard in THE BARNET Race 3 this Sunday Class 1 & 2 1500 m turf race. His last two races were either drawn wide or too green in the running and also heavy weight on his back. This time I would like to see things go smoothly in his way for this son of Cape Blanco in Macau. Qian Gua (pictured) will shoulder only 116 and have S. Nakano riding him, although barrier 8 is not ideal but with S. Nakano’s well judge of pace, this son of Cape Blanco should well use his stamina with his light weight of 116 to find a good firing position down the straight. There are a few chances in this race with Luen On Poseiden, Luen On Dance Kid, and of course Kelowna Star, Pearl Green and Bring Me Speed. Qian Gua with a modest rating of 83, he will find this race to suit and hopefully he can climb up to a higher ranking in the rating scale. Davy Chiu
