Melco Resorts & Entertainment recently sponsored the “Beijing-Macao Universities Art Exchange and Aesthetic Education Immersion Activities,” reinforcing its commitment to cultural exchange and artistic development.
This initiative recently welcomed a delegation of 51 students and faculty to Macau.
During their visit, the delegation engaged with local universities and schools through teaching practices, seminars and performances.
Melco arranged a visit to the Family and Integrated Community Service Centre of Seac Pai Van, where they performed nationalistic songs and shared musical skills with local elders.
Chief of Staff & Executive Vice President at Melco, Akiko Takahashi, emphasized the importance of fostering cultural connections.
“Melco will continue to develop meaningful and impactful initiatives for the community, to promote local talent development and further strengthen our efforts in instilling national pride and patriotism through the education of Chinese culture,” the executive pledged.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Education and Youth Development Bureau, the Macau Youth Development Service Centre, and Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music.
