MGM showcases cultural tourism at Lisbon roadshow

MGM is participating in the “Experience Macao Roadshow in Lisbon,” organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office from September 17 to 21 at Praça do Comércio.

The company is presenting its cross-disciplinary performance “Yangge·Robots,” interactive installations, and a selection of travel products, aiming to promote Macau as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure and strengthen cultural and commercial ties between Macau and Portugal.

The performance, inspired by MGM’s Macau 2049 residency show, combined traditional Yangge dance from Hebei with robotic movements from Chinese tech brand Unitree, creating a dialogue between tradition and technology.

MGM’s booth, themed “Technology + Entertainment,” also features the “Mechanical Matrix Dynamic Lion Capsule Lucky Draw Machine,” distributing 3,000 prizes including tickets to Macau 2049, souvenirs from the Poly MGM Museum, and products from local cultural brands.

MGM said in a statement that it is additionally introducing its hospitality, dining, and entertainment offerings, and has launched roadshow-exclusive travel packages to encourage European tourists to explore Macau’s cultural and leisure attractions.
