More than 200 students from 41 secondary schools took part in the ninth MGM Golden Lion Summer Camp, held August 13-14 in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

The two-day program featured team-building and experiential activities, including outdoor orienteering, archery tag, high-rope courses and augmented reality combat games. Students also interacted with MGM management representatives during an evening campfire session, gaining insights into different career experiences.

On the second day, participants visited the By-Health Transparent Factory’s Nutrition Explore Center, where they learned about nutrition science and developments in the health and wellness industry through interactive activities.

MGM said the annual camp aims to broaden students’ learning beyond the classroom, strengthen teamwork and resilience, and increase their understanding of development in the Greater Bay Area.

The program has been held since 2012 and is aimed at students aged 14 to 18.
