World Touring Car Championship’s (WTCC) racer and Macau veteran Rob Huff has praised the new Moulay El Hassan circuit in Marrakech, Morocco, claiming that it is a bit “reminiscent of Macau.”
According to a TouringCarTimes report, Huff was pleased and even a bit surprised after his track walk through the new layout.
“From walking it, it’s incredibly tight in places, but I have to say I really like it. It’s definitely a little bit reminiscent of Macau,” said Huff.
The street track enthusiast admitted that the overlap of several different surfaces makes the track extremely difficult, but still claimed that he is “very impressed.”
Racing for Honda, the British driver was the fastest in the opening session of the weekend at Marrakech. He is currently fourth in the championship, 46 points behind the leader, José María López. MDT
