The Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou launched an exhibition showcasing the artworks of Hua Yan from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) earlier this week. Entitled Elegance, Refinement, Style, Paintings of Hua Yan, the exhibition features over 70 pieces/sets of exquisite works, with more than 90% of them being precious cultural relics. These artworks were collected by eight units from Guangdong, Liaoning, Fujian, and Zhejiang provinces, as well as Tianjin municipality. A significant number of exhibits are being presented to the public for the first time. This exhibition marks the first systematic and concentrated display of Hua Yan’s paintings in Guangdong province.
