Music | Macao Orchestra presents family friendly concerts
The Macao Orchestra (OM) presented two performances of the concert, “Journey into the World of Music – Peter and the Wolf” on Sunday at the Macau Tower Auditorium. Approximately 100 students, accompanied by their parents, from Escola Caritas de Macau and the Concordia School for Special Education attended the concerts, , which also featured cartoon decorations and photo shooting activities.
The concert series “Journey into the World of Music” is an educational series held by the orchestra annually. This year, OM played the classical musical fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” in collaboration with Platypus Theatre from Canada, characterized by its humorous narrative accompanied by peculiar instruments.
Macao Orchestra is expected to visit a number of charitable organizations and elderly homes next month to share the warmth of the Chinese New Year with the elderly by holding New Year concerts.
