New guests confirmed for literary festival

Portuguese journalist Adelino Gomes, Hong Kong writer Kelly Yang, local author Chan Im Wa and Spanish puppeteer Toni Rumbau are among the new names confirmed to be attending the fourth edition of The Script Road, according to an announcement made yesterday by the organizers. The literary festival will take place between March 19 and 29, with the majority of the events happening at the Old Court building.

The deputy coordinator of the Transportation Infrastructure Office (GIT), André Ritchie, will be leaving his post at the end of the month, newspaper Tribuna de Macau reports. He has been serving as GIT’s deputy chief since 2007. Mr Ritchie will start working for the private sector. He did not disclose which company he will be working for, but said that it is not related to the Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction work or any other major public project.
