
A single hotel project in Cotai has concluded construction in 2025, according to data released by the Land and Public Works Bureau (DSSCU), while three additional projects in the district remain in the design stage.
The single hotel in Cotai delivered 2,724 guest rooms across 116,743 square meters. It also provided 974 light-vehicle parking spaces and 283 motorcycle parking spaces.
Moreover, the DSSCU report indicated that three projects are under construction and are expected to deliver a total of 204 guest rooms across 4,881 square meters, while 12 hotel projects in the design phase are expected to deliver 1,432 rooms across 79,051 square meters.
No other hotel completions occurred last year across Macau’s other districts — the Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island, or Coloane — according to the data.
Six New residential buildings
Regarding residential developments, the bureau detailed six private residential projects that received building occupancy permits in the fourth quarter of 2025. Those projects delivered 760 units, along with 409 passenger-car parking spaces and 129 motorcycle spaces.
An additional 41 private residential projects remain under construction or have reached completion but are awaiting final inspection. These projects will add another 1,671 units to the market supply.
Meanwhile, another 70 projects remain in the design phase, with 5,993 units planned, 2,577 light-vehicle parking spaces, and 860 motorcycle parking spaces.
For the full-year 2025, the bureau reported 1,458 units from newly approved private residential projects, 669 from new starts, 821 from new inspection applications, and 1,068 from newly issued licenses.
