In a statement, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said it is highly concerned about the case involving one of its officers and expressed deep regret over the incident. Authorities confirmed that disciplinary proceedings have been launched and that the firefighter has been placed under preventive suspension pending investigation.
The bureau stressed that it places great importance on the moral conduct and legal awareness of its personnel and vowed to deal seriously with any unlawful or disciplinary violations.
According to the statement, the bureau’s leadership has instructed departments to strengthen ethics education and supervision among staff members. Officials also reminded personnel that they must strictly abide by the law and uphold professional ethics at all times in order to safeguard the reputation of the force.
