The coach of the Splendors of China Passport Program’s Kung Fu Class, Benny Lei, director, Business Risk, led a team of three student participants who are also children of Melco colleagues in joining the Ninth International WuDeBei Traditional WuShu Competition 2022 – Online Edition.

Participating on behalf of the Melco Reach! WuShu Team, the group attained six gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s Splendors of China in-house program to instill national pride and patriotism through education and awareness was launched in 2016.

Melco’s Kung Fu Class is part of the company’s Splendors of China Passport Program. The nationalistic learning program offers “mandatory courses on Chinese culture and history, as well as elective courses on cultural aspects of understanding China, enhanced through visits to nationalistic exhibitions, Chinese culture knowledge competitions, youth talent contests and much more,” according to a statement issued by the gaming operator.
