PSP apprehends yoga instructor without valid visa

 

A woman from the mainland has been apprehended by the Public Security Police Force for working illegally in Macau. The woman, who is in her 30s and holds an SAR Travel Endorsement in Macau, was caught over the weekend teaching yoga classes in a beauty parlor owned by a local woman. The teacher was caught in a class by the police, who were told that the two women are friends, and the teacher was invited to teach in July and August. The teacher earned 20,400 Chinese yuan for six days of teaching.

Wong Ieng Kuan Library reopens today

The Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Luís de Camões Garden will reopen today after it was closed on August 3 following a visit by one of the members of the Covid-positive family of four. According to the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the premises underwent thorough cleaning and disinfection in consultation with the Health Bureau. Crowd control measures will also be implemented at the library, with visitor numbers limited to 50% of pre-pandemic capacity.
