Sands China Ltd. has been named an Exemplar in five categories of the 2025 Business Sustainability Indices (BSI) released by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, achieving four Top 3 rankings.

The group said in a statement that the company is the first integrated tourism and leisure operator in the city to reach a Top 3 position in the BSI. It also received the Hong Kong Business Sustainability Index 10th Anniversary Decade of Excellence Award – Sustainability Progress, acknowledging improvement in sustainability management and its wider environmental and social impact.

The indices evaluate companies based on vision, management practices, and contributions to society and the environment.

This year’s assessment included 385 listed companies across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and major hotel chains. Sands China ranked in the top three in the Global (Asia-Pacific), Greater China, Greater Bay Area, and Hong Kong sustainability indices, and placed in the top 10 of the Greater China Hotel index, earning an Exemplar rating in all five.
