Sands China celebrated International Women’s Day by recognizing female team members through appreciation activities and an empowerment-focused sharing session.
According to the gaming operator, senior management presented ribbon flowers purchased from the Macau Special Olympics as a gesture of gratitude for women’s contributions to the company.
The company’s EmpowHER resource group hosted a sharing session at The Venetian Macao under the theme “Empowering Each Other, Achieving the Extraordinary, Breaking Boundaries.”
Guest speakers included Macau Special Olympics gold medalist Fong Wai Chon, former MSO Global Messenger Selina Ao Ieong, and Sands China senior vice president Devonne Iao, who shared experiences on resilience, advocacy and knowledge sharing.
Chief executive officer Grant Chum said International Women’s Day provides an opportunity to recognize women’s achievements and express appreciation for female employees.
He added that the company remains committed to building an inclusive workplace that supports women’s professional and personal development.
