“This is an exciting move for the Gordon Ramsay Group, not only to be partnering with a fantastic organization like Sands China but also because there is nowhere quite like Macau. We will be working closely with the Sands China team on the ground to tailor one of our current concepts to this unique market and deliver a first-class dining experience,” Gordon Ramsay said, cited by a Sands China press release.
Charles Newland, senior vice president of food and beverage and director of Paiza Operations, argued that the first Gordon Ramsay establishment in Macau will elevate the international dining experience at Sands Cotai Central. “Seeing Ramsay’s internationally-acclaimed restaurant empire expanding to Sands Cotai Central is an important milestone for Sands China in advancing that goal [of contributing to the development of Macau as a world centre of tourism and leisure] and further enriches the overall offering of our integrated resorts with a new world-class culinary experience,” he explained.
