The Sands Shopping Carnival offered a weekend of fun for the Macau community, with good deals and fun activities catering to all age segments of the market.
Featuring over 500 booths, free parking, and free admission, the carnival provided an holistic shopping and leisure destination for families.
According to organizer Sands China, the carnival aimed to give back to the community by offering the best deals to Macau residents and tourists in order to stimulate domestic consumption and help boost the economy.
The carnival is the largest shopping event of its kind in Macau, and provided a free business platform for local SMEs and Sands China retailers to highlight their businesses.
Some of the other diverse activities and attractions at the Sands Shopping Carnival included the Karaoke King Singing Competition, workshops, games, an international-cuisine food area, performances, lucky draws, MOP1 products, and deals offering up to 80 percent off certain products.
The resort operator also hosted some local community partners to experience the carnival on its opening day at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd remarked, “Events like the Sands Shopping Carnival present opportunities for our team member volunteers to give back to society in meaningful ways, and we are happy to see them hosting community groups to enjoy some summer fun during these extraordinary times.”
