Sightseeing cruise route to launch at Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal

Macau will launch its first sightseeing cruise route using the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal as a boarding and disembarkation point tomorrow.
Operated by Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management (Macau) Limited, the new route will connect the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal with Barra Pier.
During the initial phase, one round-trip voyage will run daily. The 25-minute cruise departs the Outer Harbour Terminal at 10:30 a.m. and returns from Barra Pier at 5 p.m.
According to a statement, the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) expedited the approval process and supported the operator in preparing for the route’s launch.
To facilitate cruise development, the bureau said it has been improving infrastructure and encouraging ferry companies and integrated resorts to create more marine tourism options.
The recently completed space optimization project at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal in late 2024 has equipped the facility to support sightseeing cruise operations. lv
