Wynn Resorts has unveiled “Illuminarium,” a new immersive destination at Wynn Palace in Cotai, as part of its commitment to diversifying the city’s tourism offerings and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau SAR.
Launched last Friday, Illuminarium honors “the significant achievements of China’s aerospace industry over the past 30 years,” a note from the company says.
Illuminarium, themed around space travel, offers “a unique, interactive experience that allows visitors to explore the universe and learn about China’s aerospace milestones through advanced technology and stunning visuals.”
Linda Chen of Wynn Macau emphasized the role of Illuminarium in enhancing local tourism and serving as an educational platform.
The launch day included a “Beauty and Knowledge of Space” sharing session with experts and a gala dinner, offering “a multi-sensory experience” in the theme of space exploration.
Open from Tuesdays to Sundays, Illuminarium has ticket options for different visitors, including discounts for residents, students, seniors, and children, as well as Wynn Insider members. This attraction “is set to contribute significantly to Macau’s status” as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure, the note adds.
