Briefs | Pin-to Livros reveals new location

As many had speculated – increasingly so since the news of Pin-to Musica’s closure in July – the Senado Square-based bookstore Pin-to Livros will shut its doors for the last time on September 30 and relocate to another part of the peninsula. The owner of the bookstore, Anson Ng, initially said that rental costs for the units in Senado Square had reached an unsustainable rate. He later clarified that after a new company acquired the lease to the building, he was notified that his rental contract would be terminated.  Ng revealed to The Times in July that he was already looking for a new location “to combine books and music” under one roof. He has now decided that the shop, which closes at the end of the month, will reopen at Rua de Coelho do Amaral No.41, near Kiang Wu Hospital in January 2017.
