Two buses collided at the junction of the Av. Leste do Hipódromo and R. Graciosa on Friday. There were 10 female passengers, aged between 5 and 79 years, sustaining light injuries. The vehicles were severely damaged. According to one of the drivers, he started to slow down the vehicle when he saw pedestrians crossing the road at the zebra crossing. As he stopped his vehicle, the bus following behind crashed into his bus. The accident is being followed up by the investigation department of the Public Security Police Force.
CEM announces adjustment in tariff
In accordance with the calculation method stated in the concession contract, the Tariff Clause Adjustment (TCA) in the first quarter of 2019 for CEM’s Tariff Group A, B, and C customers will be at 37 cents per kWh, a slight increase of 1 cent per kWh compared to the previous quarter.
