Melco Resorts & Entertainment has debuted The Tasting Room – Prime Steak & Grill, a new premium steakhouse at its integrated resort City of Dreams. The restaurant, which the gaming operator describes as an “international gastronomic destination,” had its grand opening recently. It offers guests a variety of high-end cuts of meat and creative dishes.

The Tasting Room specializes in American Wagyu beef that has been both dry-aged and wet-aged as well as top-tier Black Angus steaks that are charcoal grilled using wood from red oak trees in Georgia to impart a delicate smoky flavor, according to a statement issued by the gaming operator

Signature dishes include a 1,200-gram thick-cut T-bone steak from Brandt Farms and a grain-fed ribeye from St. Helen’s Farms in the Northwestern U.S. Diners can sample options like prime beef tartare, sizzling lump crab cakes, and lobster bisque.

The restaurant features a unique Spanish charcoal oven that reaches up to 350 degrees Celsius, stated by Melco to impart authentic smoky flavors.
