Civil servants want a day off to vaccinate

Civil servants are calling for an extra day off work to vaccinate against Covid-19, the Macau Civil Servants Federation (MCSF) said, citing the conclusion of a survey conducted among around 500 workers.
The civil servants noted that the best solution to incentivize the vaccination is to give workers a full day off the day they have undergo inoculation, so they can rest and recover from the procedure.
According to the findings of the survey, a large majority (70%) are also in favor of the prevention and control measures imposed by the government, that require the presentation of vaccination proof or a negative nucleic acid test every seven days, TDM reported.
According to the MCSF president, Pang Kung Hou, the Federation suggests that the government follow the wishes of the workers, so they can have a proper rest and recover from any side effects that often result from the inoculation. RM
