Cold front to bring rain and thunderstorms this weekend

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said a cold front has crossed the Pearl River Estuary, bringing northerly winds and falling temperatures to Macau. Heavy rain and several thunderstorms are expected to persist today, with temperatures ranging between 18 degrees Celcius and 22 degrees. Conditions are expected to improve slightly by Sunday. Authorities added that a trough early next week will likely bring another round of showers and thunderstorms.
