Temporary bus waiting area to open at Border Gate for CNY rush

Authorities announced the temporary opening of a dedicated bus waiting area near the Border Gate to cope with the expected surge in visitors during the Lunar New Year. From Feb. 11 to Feb. 22, a 500-square-meter area will be made available to ease congestion. Bus operators Transmac and TCM will deploy additional staff to manage queues. Further traffic improvements, including new signals, will be implemented from Feb. 13 to enhance pedestrian safety and traffic flow.
