This month, BaseHall 02 in Hong Kong is thrilled to announce the newest addition to its vibrant culinary line-up, CCT by Shop B. Coming from Sai Ying Pun to the heart of Central, CCT by Shop B is set to captivate diners with a unique cha chan teng experience that marries the essence of Hong Kong’s culinary heritage with a contemporary twist.

Premier food and beverage destination, BaseHall 02 is the vibrant new addition to Hong Kong’s diverse culinary landscape. BaseHall 02 presents a curated collection of Hong Kong’s best food and beverage experiences under one roof. From counters serving up the city’s celebrated classics and experiences, to late-night DJ events fuelled by bespoke cocktails, BaseHall 02’s fluid space leads the way in modern, multi-concept experiential dining.

Owned and operated by the visionary duo Chef George Kwok and Natalie Ngan, CCT by Shop B, also known as “Cha Chan Teng”, is where the past, present, and future of Hong Kong cuisine converge. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of Cantonese classics and the conviviality of Dai Pai Dong, CCT by Shop B presents a menu that pays homage to local comfort food while embracing a modern culinary approach.

At CCT by Shop B at BaseHall 02, diners can expect a culinary journey that celebrates Hong Kong’s food culture, offering a diverse selection of dishes that cater to every palate. From traditional all-day breakfasts to fusion creations such as baked rice and pasta dishes, Hong Kong-style egg on rice, and beloved street snacks like siu mai and fish balls with Shop B’s signature curry sauce, every bite evokes a sense of nostalgia.

Choose from their lunch menu featuring highlights of Baked Chicken Rice with Portuguese Curry Sauce, Baked Spaghetti Bolognese, Shop B Fried Rice, and Egg Omelette Rice with Shrimp. For afternoon snacking options, savour Satay Beef Indomie, Fried Chicken Thigh with Fries, Pineapple Bun with Butter Slice, and Curry Fish Balls, each dish reminiscent of Hong Kong’s street food favourites.

For dinner, indulge in Claypot Satay Beef with Vermicelli, Claypot Mapo Tofu with Fried Dough, and Typhoon 10 Calamari, among other comforting delights.

CCT by Shop B enriches BaseHall02’s diverse culinary offerings, while paying tribute to Hong Kong’s vibrant food scene, where the old and the new converge in a symphony of flavours.
