Construction projects for three outdoor parking lots underway
Recapping the recent announcement by the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Raymond Tam, about the upcoming release of 39 plots of land for rezoning, the Public Works Bureau (DSOP) confirmed yesterday that construction has begun on three outdoor parking lots.
The lots are located at Rua da Cordoaria in Coloane, near the former Julieta Nobre de Carvalho social housing in Tamagnini Barbosa, and beside the Maritime Training School campus in Barra, with plans for them to open by the end of December.
These facilities are expected to provide 194 private car spaces and 140 motorcycle spaces, some equipped with charging stations. Additionally, as revealed by the director of DSOP, Lam Wai Hou, temporary public spaces will soon be constructed on three downtown plots – A3, A4, and A9 in Nam Van Lake. YL
