Banyan Tree Spa Macau is celebrating its fifth anniversary by offering all guests a Banyan Tree Gallery shopping voucher worth MOP500 with any purchase of ‘Tropical Rainmist’ spa treatment, from Sept.1 until Sept. 30.

The spa focuses on a non-clinical and holistic approach based on traditional Asian healing therapies, thus offering guests a “Sanctuary for the Senses,” – a place for physical, mental and spiritual renewal.
The signature Banyan Tree “Rainmist” experience is a combination of “Rain Shower” and “Steam Bath.”
Among the two options, the “Radiant Rainmist” treatment features a soothing Chrysanthemum Purifier with a choice of body massages to release muscle tension, before concluding with a rejuvenating facial, read a statement from the resort.
Meanwhile, the “Tranquility Rainmist” experience begins with a purifying and nourishing “Herbal Refresher,” a therapeutic concoction of herbs and follows by the combination of body treats with the “Shirodhara,” a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring warm liquids over the forehead to enhance deep relaxation.

Sands China participates in Oxfam’s “Hunger meal” event

Oxfam-experience_rich-meal

Some 100 Sands China team members participated in the “Oxfam Hunger Meal Experience” Monday and Tuesday at The Venetian Macao, aimed at raising their awareness of hunger and poverty issues.
During Oxfam Hunger Meal Experience, team members first participated in three activities intended to give them an understanding of the issues of war, famine and climate change.
The participants were split into two groups. Based on the global poverty ratio and the global distribution of resources, 80 percent of the participants were provided with meals for the poor, while 20 percent enjoyed a better meal for the rich, as cited in Sands China’s press release.
Sands China’s participation in May’s “World Hunger Day” and in the “Oxfam Hunger Meal Experience” is part of the ongoing efforts of the Sands ECO360° global sustainability strategy, which utilizes measures like energy saving, resource recycling, conservation and community engagement.
