Corporate Bits | Conrad Macao’s 2015 ‘pink inspired’ campaign raises over mop 200,000

image001Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s 2015 ‘Pink Inspired’ campaign has been hailed a success with the hotel raising MOP200,319.20 to support the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution, an annual campaign that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research. As a Diamond sponsor of the campaign for the third year in a row, the hotel offered its guests a series of ‘plush pink’ experiences from 1st October to 31 October, to raise funds for this worthy cause.
Conrad Macao also acknowledged the support of ARTĒ Madrid who helped this year’s fund-raising campaign by donating a Glorioso necklace featuring 49 pear-shaped and 13 marquise-shaped white stones valued at MOP7,000.

Hiroshi-Kagata---Chef-de-Cuisine---Mizumi_2wynn macau gains additional michelin star

Wynn Macau is now home to four Michelin stars. Signature Japanese restaurant, Mizumi joined Wynn Macau’s other awarded restaurants for the first time as it gained a Michelin Star in the 2016 Hong Kong and Macau Michelin Guide. This also marks the fourth consecutive year for Golden Flower to receive two Michelin stars and the seventh consecutive year for Wing Lei to be awarded one star.
“We are proud that three of our restaurants have been recognized as among the best restaurants in Macau and Hong Kong. This is a particularly exceptional and exciting achievement for Chef Hiroshi and his team for being newly awarded with the accolade this year,” said Olivier Bonard, Vice President – Food & Beverage of Wynn Macau.

01mgm china stages private bond screening

MGM China presented a special screening of Spectre, the latest James Bond film, on Friday evening following its topping-
out ceremony of MGM COTAI.  Jointly organized with the British Consulate-General Hong Kong & Macau, MGM China screened the film to offer an entertaining evening to its Macau partners and friends and promote British cultural exchange.
Spectre was premiered on November 6 after a cocktail party. Guests of honor in attendance included Consul General Caroline Wilson of the British Consulate in Hong Kong and Macau, Mr Jim Murren, Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International and Ms Pansy Ho, Co-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China.
