Sands China recently held a seminar to mark the 30th anniversary of Macau SAR’s Basic Law, attended by around 100 of Sands China’s management team.
The seminar took place on June 2 at The Venetian’s Adelson Advanced Education Centre as part of the Sands China Distinguished Speaker Forum Series. Guest speaker Ho Teng Iat, vice chairman of the Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese, shared their insights.

During the seminar, Ho shared her experience of the creation of the Basic Law, highlighting its achievements. She emphasized its role in ensuring a smooth transition for Macau’s return to China and the successful implementation of the One Country, Two Systems principle.
