The Venetian Macao, Beijing Joyway Promotions and Phoenix Live Entertainment International will present “Riverdance – The 20th Anniversary World Tour” at The Venetian Theatre from January 24 to February 5, 2017.
The show is an innovative blend of dance and music that draws on Irish traditions and has been seen live by over 25 million people worldwide.
For the 20th Anniversary World Tour, the show includes new costumes, lighting and projections and the addition of a brand new song, “Anna Livia”, featuring the female members of the Irish dance troupe in an a cappella hard-shoe number.
For over 20 years, few entertainment concepts have carried the ‘energy, sensuality and spectacle’ of Riverdance, according to a press release issued by Sands China. Beginning as the interval act in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, the seven-minute dance piece was developed into a full-length stage show by Moya Doherty, Bill Whelan and John McColgan.
Tickets for the shows go on sale today at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has announced a major fleet and network expansion. The airline will introduce a second Airbus A330 aircraft and commence non-

According to its press release, the move will strengthen its existing regional network in early 2017.
The airline plans to establish the air bridge between Seychelles and Germany on March 30, 2017 by launching a twice-weekly service to Düsseldorf in western Germany.
To further strengthen its European network, Air Seychelles will also increase its Paris service from three to four flights per week starting March 28, 2017, offering more travel options to holidaymakers visiting Seychelles from France.
Effective March 30, 2017, the Seychelles flag carrier will also commence a twice-weekly service to South Africa’s port city of Durban, a trade hub that is home to over three million people. This will complement its existing five-a-week flights to Johannesburg.
