In celebration of Easter, MGM will continue the tradition of “Celebrating the Easter spirit with Concordia School for Special Education”, now in its third year.
Led by MGM’s senior management team, over 30 volunteer team members visited the school yesterday to extend love, care and happiness to the students.
According to a statement, 10 teachers and 56 schoolchildren between 4 and 10 years old welcomed MGM’s volunteers and executives.
During the visit, staff volunteers interacted with the children through games and singing performances. Each student was given a special Easter gift bag consisting of chocolate Easter eggs, cupcakes, sandwiches and stationery.
MGM supports the Macau community through the motto ‘Create a Better Tomorrow Today’ which focuses on philanthropic and volunteer efforts to give back to society. The volunteer team was established in 2010, and currently has over 480 active members.
h&m to launch ‘contemporary collection’ in april
The 2016 Conscious Exclusive Collection, launched to coincide with the opening of the exhibition, “Fashion Forward – 300 years of Fashion” at the Musée de Arts Decoratifs, conveys an idea of ‘painterly and sophisticated elegance’, according to a press release.
The H&M design team has delved into the museum’s collections of archival fashions to discover haute couture pieces from the last three centuries, resulting in a contemporary collection that will be available in approximately 180 stores worldwide as well as online from April 7.
Materials used in the garments include organic silk, hemp, recycled linen and Tencel blends as well as new materials such as beads made from recycled glass and Denimite – a material made out of recycled worn-out denim.
Moreover, this season’s launch of “Conscious Exclusive” includes three wedding dresses which are described as having “dreamy, draped lines.”
H&M will be the exclusive sponsor of the upcoming exhibition “Fashion Forward – 300 years of Fashion” at Musée de Arts Decoratifs.
