CEM and the Office for the Development of Energy Sector of Macau SAR again jointly organized the “Macau Energy Saving Contest” this year to encourage the public to save energy in line with the MSAR’s vision of “Building a Low Carbon Macau, Creating Green Living Together.”

CEM has held the annual Macau Energy Saving Contest since 2009 with the support of the General Residents Association of Macau, Macau Property Management Business Association, and Macau Hoteliers & Innkeepers Association, achieving incredible savings of 154 million kWh of electricity across the eight years that the event has been held.

According to the firm’s release, the contest is divided into two categories this year: the Residential Building Public Facilities Group, and the Hotel Group.
