Corporate bits | Restaurant at the Parisian presents French Festival menu

Le French GourMay, the festival of French culinary and wine culture, will return to Hong Kong and Macau this May.

To commemorate the event, The Parisian Macao’s classic French Brasserie restaurant is offering a special four-course menu with champagne pairings for the entire month.

This year’s event pays homage to the most famed wine region of all, Champagne, and the restaurant has paired the promotional menu with a hand-picked range of champagnes from some of France’s smaller growers, all of which will be available both by the glass and the bottle.

Dishes on the menu include baked scallops with an onion compote and crayfish sauce, foie gras and rabbit terrine en croûte, asparagus veloute with poached egg and French poultry breast in morel sauce on cabbage compote.

Nominations for Asia Gaming Awards 2017 opens

The second edition of the Asia Gaming Awards (AGAwards) is set to take place on May 16, the first evening of G2E Asia at The Parisian.

The event convenes key stakeholders from the Asian gaming industry to celebrate industry-wide achievements.

Members nominate and cast their vote, alongside a panel of judges.

A total of 12 awards will be presented across the land-based and online gaming spheres, along with a prize for “Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Corporate Social Responsibility.”

Up to eight rising stars will be recognized at the awards, according to a press release issued by Asia Gaming Brief.

This year marks the launch of a new “Best Gaming Property” category aimed at bringing in the region’s smaller non-IR operations, while “Best Gaming Area Design” will include nominations for specific areas, rather than the property as a whole.
