MGM’s Emerald Villa wins top prize at International Property Awards
The Emerald Villa of MGM Cotai has won the 5-star accolade, the highest level of award, in the category of Best Hotel Interior Macau – Asia Pacific 2022 at the International Property Awards.
The International Property Awards bring the number of international interior design prizes recognizing the Emerald Villa to three in total in just one year since its launch.
In 2021, the Emerald Villa was named the Winner at the SBID International Design Awards 2021 in the Hotel Bedroom & Suites Design category, as well as the Platinum Winner at the 2021 MUSE Design Awards in the Interior Design (Hotels & Resorts) category.

Designed by Westar Architects International Limited, the Emerald Villa is the latest addition to MGM’s luxurious accommodation portfolio. Each of its 28 villas is filled with art pieces and cultural elements, immersing its guests in an experience where modern aesthetics meets traditional Chinese heritage.
Established in 1993, the IPA has been one of the world’s premier annual awards for the global property industry. Its judging panel comprises international leading experts across all sectors of the property industry.
