Corporate Bits | Sands China kicks off summer activities for team members

Sands China Ltd. launched Sands China Amazing Summer 2018, an initiative encouraging team members to enjoy work-life balance, and activities with friends and family.

Sands China Amazing Summer 2018 comprises of three events: Sands China Hunter, “SCL Town” Walker and Sands China Painter.

On August 6, team members participated in the Sands China Hunter activity with their family and friends, exploring iconic locations throughout The Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central and The Parisian Macao, according to a statement issued by the gaming operator.

In the “SCL Town” Walker activity, family and friends of team members visited The Venetian Macao’s back-of-house area and took part in two child-friendly activities: a Venetian mask painting activity on August 15 and Grado mini-golf at The Venetian Macao on August 23.  

On August 31, team members will also collaborate with their family and friends to create drawings that combine to form a giant picture, which will then be exhibited at the back-of-house area at The Venetian Macao.

CEM holds seminars to raise awareness on electricity safety

Representatives from CEM visited various local associations and held seminars to promote the importance of electricity saving and safety, attracting a total of 520 participants.

Topics included CEM customer service, responsibilities, the importance of regular inspections and maintenance of communal electrical installations, and household energy safety and saving tips.

During the seminars, CEM representatives reminded customers to pay attention to the maintenance and management of communal electrical installations, in order to avoid fires and other accidents.

From July to October 2018, residential customers who save 5 percent or more on their electricity consumption compared to the same period last year will be eligible for the Lucky Draw once registered.

According to a statement issued by the electrical company, prizes include more than 150 electrical appliance gift coupons and rebates on electricity bills.

The three grand prize winners will receive MOP10,000 electrical appliance gift coupons each.

Customers are eligible for the Lucky Draw from now till 30 September.
