Sands Resorts Macao hosted its annual Sales Appreciation Awards gala dinner on Thursday at The Parisian Macao to recognize its leisure, MICE, airline and media partners’ contributions to its success throughout 2016.

Sands Resorts Macao said this year’s event, titled “The Legends Awards”, is part of its business philosophy of acknowledging and rewarding the trade partners of its integrated resorts. The “Legends” theme was chosen as a timeless symbol of both Chinese and Western mythology to emphasize attributes such as strength, courage, ambition and achievement.

The “Trade Partner of the Year, Online Market” award went to Booking.com B.V and “Trade Partner of the Year, Leisure Market” was given to China International Travel Service Ltd, Head Office. China Travel Service Gongbei Port Guangdong Co., Ltd. was awarded the “Trade Partner of the Year, MICE Market” award.

Around a hundred guests gathered at Galaxy Macau “China Rouge” on Friday evening for the unveiling of the Maserati Levante SUV and the Maserati Ghibli 2017.

Galaxy Entertainment Group said in a statement that the Maserati Levante represents a new chapter in Maserati’s iconic history. Levante offers outstanding performance capabilities on and off the road with comfort, Italian style, high-tech features and all-weather handling even on snow and ice.

The Maserati Ghibli 2017 is described as a masterful combination of style, power, sports handling and comfort. There will also be Luxury and Sport packages to highlight the Ghibli’s various capabilities.

Watsons HK to distribute Holland & Barrett

Celebrated British health food and supplements brand Holland & Barrett is hitting the streets of Hong Kong through a distribution deal with Watsons.

The launch follows recent Watsons research in 2016 showing that more than half of Hong Kong people rank their health as either poor or fair. Concerns vary by age group and gender, and range from stress and poor sleep to concerns about body shape, hair and skin quality, allergies and intestinal problems.

More than 70 percent of Hong Kong people already buy or are considering vitamins or supplements. This figure rises to 90 percent among women under 30, showing that young customers are concerned about health.

More than 150 Holland & Barrett products are now available at Watsons Hong Kong. They include supplements for bone and joint health, digestion, sports nutrition and children’s vitamins.
