Corporate Bits | Wynn’s spa receives prestigious spachina award

SpaChina magazine recently hosted the SpaChina Awards 2018, gathering together China’s leading spa and wellness professionals as well as highly respected judges from the industry. The Spa at Wynn Palace, which is also the largest spa in Macau, received the highly coveted “Best Hotel Spa of the Year” award from SpaChina this year.

The 4,497-square-meter Spa at Wynn Palace features 22 ultra-chic and comfortable treatment rooms including eight private suites. Each private VIP treatment suite features its own relaxation area, bathtub, experience shower and steam room.

The SpaChina Awards, launched in 2010 to promote the development of China’s spa industry, has become one of the industry’s most anticipated annual awards event. The panel of judges for the SpaChina Awards consists of highly respected spa and wellness experts.

MUST organizes 43 student internships in Guangdong

The Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST) Entrepreneurship and Employment Development Center organized 43 students to go to Zhuhai and Guangzhou for internships this summer.

The purpose was to let students accumulate practical experience, understand city planning of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, according to a statement issued by MUST.

Among the 43 students, 29 participated in an internship program sponsored by the Hengqin New District Management Committee. Twelve students participated in the “100-enterprise” internship program sponsored by Guangzhou Nansha District Youth Federation, while the 2 remaining students participated in a program sponsored by the Guangzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

Internships covered the fields of government departments, large central enterprises, and foreign and private enterprises engaged in finance, information technology, tourism, and manufacturing.
