Last week, Wynn hosted the “An Intoxicating Blend of Unique Wine Cultures – Douro Boys x Ningxia Girls,” celebrating cultural fusion and exquisite encounters. It brought together Portugal’s decades-old wine estate alliance, the Douro Boys (comprising Niepoort, Quinta do Crasto, Quinta do Vallado and Quinta do Vale Meão), and China’s top Ningxia wine alliance, the Ningxia Girls (featuring Fei Tswei, Helan Qingxue Winery and Kanaan Winery). These renowned groups collaborated for a spectacular two-day wine event featuring a masterclass, a walkaround tasting, and a dinner.
It not only celebrated exceptional wines, but also honoured Macao’s enduring legacy as cultural bridge between China and Portugal. The masterclass was jointly led by David Xing MW from China and renowned Portuguese winemaker Tiago Macena. At night, Wynn Macau’s award-winning culinary team crafted a six-course menu that celebrates authentic Portuguese flavours as well. IS
