DSAL, SJM launch facilities training scheme
The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) and SJM Holdings Limited launched a “Facility Management Technician Special Scheme” yesterday. The training program will accept applications through August 28 to train 20 residents for 10 guaranteed job openings, DSAL said. The two-month, fee-waived program combines theoretical instruction and hands-on practice in painting, carpentry, basic electrical work, and professional ethics. Trainees who maintain at least 80% attendance and pass assessments will receive a certificate and up to MOP5,000 in training allowances. Successful program participants will enter SJM’s recruitment pipeline and may be hired directly into its Facilities Management Department.
