DSEDJ to launch teaching materials on China’s victory over fascism

The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) will introduce supplementary teaching materials for primary and secondary students in September, focusing on China’s victory over Japanese aggression and fascism. The DSEDJ director, Kong Chi Meng, encouraged schools and youth organizations at a press conference yesterday to arrange outreach activities to help students understand this history. On September 3, the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, 2,000 to 3,000 students and youth representatives will be arranged for a live broadcast of the anniversary conference in an indoor sports hall, with additional online viewing options available for students at their schools.
