The Macau premiere of “Girlfriends’ will be held on February 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fantasy Box, MGM Macau.
The event will be attended by director Tracy Choi. and cast members including Fish Liew, Jennifer Yu, Elizabeth Tang, Natalie Hsu, Liu Yilin, and singer Panther Chan, along with representatives from the Macao Government Tourism Office and Cultural Affairs Bureau.
The film has received three nominations at the 44th Hong Kong Film Awards: Best Supporting Actress and Best New Performer (Elizabeth Tang), and Best Original Film Song for “Ordinary People,” composed and performed by Panther Chan.
Directed by local filmmaker Tracy Choi, the production was shot in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. It premiered at the 30th Busan International Film Festival and is supported by the Macau Cultural Development Fund.
